Resurrected Covenant

Aim: To be revived in our love for Christ.

Doctrine: The church must always re-own gospel truth in Jesus. Our problem is not (primarily) one of historical/credal belief; our problem is sometimes the want of living (or resurrection) faith.

Exegesis: How the church regains her rightful inheritance in Christ: through a resurrection of the fear of God's wonders (vv. 1-5), wrath (vv. 6-8), and withdrawal (vv. 9-13).

Further application: How Christ encourages His languishing church: be reminding us of His loving atonement of us, and by embracing us now through the Spirit's comfort.
