061 Growling Sheepskins!

People so easily take offense when you warn them their sheepskin is growling! They like it because it is fluffy and soft; it is presentable too, the kids love it. They've heard some growling, but surely it is the neighbour's dog.

Christian and Hopeful meet the Flatterer, and how much damage he does with is confident, presentable manner; his cleaver words and persuasive passion. He is nice to be around. His intention however, is to lead them along the wrong way into a trap! This sheepskin is growling! They had been warned.

Sadly, but wonderfully, God disciplines His people who continue in a lifestyle of unrepentant sin. Christian and Hopeful had no excuse in this case. Yet in spite of the fact that they were disciplined, they received the difficulty with joy, and appreciated being set on the road today.
