Day 1: Read 1Tim 6:7-8, and discuss: How should the truth of verse seven help us have a right perspective of material things? How is Paul's description of contentment in verse 8 important for reinforcing our perspective for living life in light of eternity? How can our level of contentment show whether we are living for the temporal or the eternal?

Day 2: Read 1 Tim 6:17-19, Deut 8:18a, 2 Chr 1:11-12, Pro 10:22, and discuss: Why do we struggle with associating wealth with being evil? Where does the ability to gain wealth come from? What is a dangerous mentality for those who have much? Why? What does God expect us to do with wealth He blesses us with?

Day 3: 1 Tim 6:9-10, Matt 15:19, Col 1:27, Eph 3:8, and discuss: What is the conclusive destiny for those who determine to be rich? What are some examples of this? What is the common misunderstanding about money in relation to evil? What is the real relationship between money and evil? Where does the evil we do come from? What is the kind of wealth that we should be displaying in our lives?
