Heaven in the Bible vs. Heaven in the Quran by John Gilchrist

93 ( 83 | 10 )

Heaven as told by the Islamic prophet Muhammad is very different than heaven as presented by the Biblical writers. The Muslim heaven is full of wine, women & boy waiters while the Biblical heaven presents glorious worship to the most Holy God in His immediate presence by His redeemed saints & angelic hosts. Larry Wessels, director of Christian Answers of Austin, Texas/ Christian Debater (YouTube channel: CANSWERSTV at http://www.youtube.com/user/CAnswersTV?feature=mhee with 19 playlists on numerous topics; websites: http://www.BIBLEQUERY.ORG, http://www.HISTORYCART.COM, http://www.MUSLIMHOPE.COM) presents Christian author & debater John Gilchrist for this study (see his lead articles in our "Christian Debater Guide" newsletters entitled: "Reaching Muslims For Christ" & "The Origins of Muhammad's Religion" at http://www.BIBLEQUERY.ORG site - click the "experience" box). John Gilchrist is a leading expert on Islam (type " Books and Outlines by John Gilchrist" in Yahoo or Google search box & click on link by same name): "Jam' Al-Qur'an: The Codification Of The Qur'an Text," "Muhammad and the Religion of Islam," "Facing the Muslim Challenge: A Handbook of Christian-Muslim Apologetics," "Is Muhammad Foretold in the Bible?," etc.
Jannah (Arabic: جنّة‎ Jannah), is the Islamic conception of paradise. The Arabic word Jannah is a shortened version meaning simply "Garden". According to Islamic eschatology, after death, one will reside in the grave until the appointed resurrection on Yawm al-Qiyāmah. Muslims believe that the treatment of the individual in the life of the grave will be according to his or her deeds in the worldly life.
