We are to live "in wisdom." Few unbelievers will read the Bible; all of them will read you and me. You can refute the slanders of the ungodly simply by the manner of your life. In the long run, the reputation of the Gospel depends upon the conduct of those who profess it. You cannot make too many friends. You cannot have too many people think well of you. "As much as lieth within you, live peaceably with all men." "When a man's ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him."
