Does God Still Love Me?
Series Psalms
39
In the midst of deep, dark despair, the author of Psalm 77 cries out to God. He rejects the easy believism platitudes that many give to those who are in deep suffering. It is the truth (yes that means doctrine) of God's Word and the remembrance of Gods' work in real events, with real people that gives hope and life in the midst of despair. The Psalmist realizes that God doesn't always lift us out of the pit but walks with us in it. He is there, even when we don't see His footprints.
