The Faithful Servant

Specifications: Each of us is touched by them in someway. After all, a specification is a detailed and exact statement of particulars; especially, a statement prescribing materials, dimensions, and workmanship for something to be built, installed, or manufactured. When one buys a toaster, clothing, fertilizer, groceries, etc., they are buying something that either has been created according to a particular specification, or has been inspected according to a particular specification. Truly, we are all touched by specifications; which raises these questions:

• Are there specifications for the Christian when it comes to his ministry or service?
• Is there something against which to
o Judge the success of our ministry?
o Evaluate the integrity of our work for the Lord?
