Greatness

To you, what does it mean to be great? Do you see greatness reflected in being a servant? Do you feel offended when people don't thank you or when they treat you like a servant? We need to look at Jesus' view of greatness. Although he is God, he specifically chose to be made a human servant. the glorious Son of Man humbled himself. Even an angel changed into a fly does not come close in comparison. Jesus chose a life of pain, difficulty and poverty. He chose death for those he came to save. Saints may be afraid to die and enter glory. Christ had courage to enter into a world of death. This is true greatness. Do you envy other people? It is time to evaluate your understanding of greatness. Lose your life for Christ and save it or grasp for your own life now and lose it.
