Why Jesus Saved You

If God had wanted to, He could have transported us to heaven the minute we were saved. So, why didn't He? Because He intends to be glorified here on earth through us. He intends for His glory to fill the earth. Jesus is the Light of the world and He has been given to us and thereby made us the light of the world through Him. God intends us to shine in the midst of the dark patch of space that He has placed us in. We must resist the urge to hide our light under a bushel out of fear of the world's hatred.
