Love That Covers Our Pride

The arrogance of Peter, and the rest of the Disciples, was astonishing. Jesus told them of God's plan, that included His departure, and how they were to love one another as He had loved them. Peter's focus was not own Christ's commands, rather on his own selfish desires, and his own plan. Jesus rebuked Peter, telling him of his impending cowardice and denial, and then, spoke words of ultimate comfort. Assuring them of His everlasting commitment to them and that NOTHING could separate God's chosen people from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. Oh, what love is this Beloved!! Let not your heart be troubled.
