History of Darwin and of Universe

What we think before we read the Bible determines what we think of the things we read in the Bible.

A case study is found in the illustration of Charles Darwin. This year marks the 150th anniversary of teh publishing of his book "Origin of the Species."

This lesson describes how Darwin's upbringing in a Bible-DOUBTING home, and the influences on him of other philosophers with similar ideas, helped shape the unbelief of his evolutionary theories.

Then the lesson looks at the HIstory of the universe, and focuses on the first few verses of Genesis 1. We especially marvel at how it is possible for there to be LIGHT when there was no sun. Can we trust the Bible?
