Infinitely Indestructible, Perilously Fragile

The church is a paradox. It is infinitely indestructible and perilously fragile. Paul was confident of the first but fully aware of the second. That is why he left Titus on Crete and then followed up with his short letter. Things needed to be put into order or the church and the testimony of Christ on the island would suffer.
