Christ: Our Model For Suffering, Witnessing & Vindication (Pt.1)

The Apostle Peter gives an illustration or model for Christians to follow: Jesus bore witness through suffering and was vindicated by God. We must do the same. Jesus’s suffering is described and how this led to our salvation. Peter shows how Jesus was “made alive" or brought back into fellowship with God by his own eternal, divine spirit by which he went and witnessed to the spirits in prison. Our suffering can be an opportunity to be a witness for Jesus of God's grace and power in a person to withstand any unjust treatment. Part two will explain more of the details.
