Promise of Future Blessing

Though the three prophets, Isaiah, Jeremiah and Ezekiel had pronounced immanent Judgement, in the case of Ezekiel, further judgement, yet all three prophesied of future blessing, not only for Israel Judah, but the whole world. Many people only understand their pronouncements as being limited to Israel, majoring upon the land of Israel and Jerusalem. This is very evident when it comes to the temple described by Ezekiel. To understand that prophesy in a literal sense makes no sense. Indeed it is nonsense. I repeat, yet again, the rebuilding of the temple and the recommencing of the sacrificial offerings by a new Aaronic priesthood would be a further act of defiance by the Jews. What amazes me is the fact that so many Evangelicals don't seem to see this and fervently believe that the temple will be rebuilt and the sacrifices recommence. Indeed, there are many mesmerised by this, always looking for evidence that this is going to happen. They are all excited by the news that red heifers have been found and have been sent to Israel. As I have often remarked, I was brought up on a farm and we had several red Heifers.
