Two Baskets of Figs

The people of Jerusalem imagined that because the old King and the elites had been carted away to Babylon, the exiles were those deserving judgement who would be judged, and those who remained would experience salvation. But in a vision of two baskets of figs, God told Jeremiah that reality was quite different.
