Our Co-Pastor indicates that our Lord's prayer in Gethsemane is a record of the Trinity in dialog within Himself. God is begging God. Jesus looked into the "cup" and saw ... every agony that was coming. But, He would rather drink the cup than have us drink it. Because Jesus did not PASS on the judgment cup, we are privileged to drink of the fellowship cup.
