25 Colossian Takeaways

Paul has written an incredible letter to the Colossian church. His aim / purpose has been to instruct them to see them mature in the faith. He knows that they are facing a variety of subtle theological and spiritual attacks. He has given to them some very practical hands-on applications in how they are to relate to the church, the world, your wife or husband, your parents or your children. And now Paul brings it all to a singular point of application. All of his teaching and correction works itself out in these final verses. It is fascinating that this final application has to do with what we say and to whom we say it. Jesus said back in Matthew 12:34 "For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
