When they arrived in Costa Rica, the Hyneks began training pastors, starting Bible studies, and holding evangelism and discipleship classes. They have also opened their home and lovingly ministered to the local youth for the past 10 years. The young people are now themselves taking on ministry leadership responsibilities.
