God calls us to be resident, alien servants. As we imitate Christ, we unveil to the watching world the glory of Christ.

Both Liberal Churches and Conservative Churches have failed in this endeavor. Liberal churches have been right to say, we are for the world, and we must be in the world. However, they have failed to say we must be different from the world.
Conservative churches have maintained their distinctions from the world, but have failed to be in the world, and failed to serve the world. Honestly, listening to conservative churches you would think they hate the world, think they are better, and want to rule not serve.
