Rev 12: Satan Out, Woman Persecuted

In the last portion of Revelation 12, we see two major events happening. First, there is war in heaven resulting in the ouster of Satan and his fallen angels. Second, Satan becomes exceedingly wrathful because he knows his time is short so he attempts to get to the "woman," but she is protected by God. Satan then turns his attention to the rest of the believers during this second half of the Tribulation, what Jesus called "great tribulation" in Matthew 24.
