Zion of the Nations

What does the image of the four horns and the four craftsmen mean? What about the man with the measuring line? Thankfully, Zechariah asks a lot of questions, and then receives a divine interpretation of these pictures. However, there is something greater to which these prophecies were pointing: the great day of the Lord, when He would visit his people in Zion and call the nations unto Himself. This was ultimately fulfilled in Jesus Christ, the Son of Man, whose sacrificial death and resurrection atoned for the sins of Israel, and purchased people from every nation of the earth.
