No climb-down, no compromise, no change

This message in the our continued study in the book of Nehemiah examines:

1. The subtle proposition that was presented to Nehemiah.

i. it was relentless.
ii. it was based on a lie.
iii. it came as the work of God was prospering.

2. The separated position that was maintained by Nehemiah.

i. he maintained his position because he recognised the plan and intention of his enemy.

ii. he maintained it even though some Jews had already befriended his enemy.

iii. he maintained it despite the fear that prevailed among the people

3. The splendid prayer that was offered by Nehemiah.
