A time to speak

When four lepers went out of starving Samaria to the Syrian camp they found that the Lord had won a great victory for them, and began to enjoy its spoils. Before long they had to reckon with certain realities: they knew that they were not doing right; they knew that they had good news that they were not sharing; they knew that continued silence would bring punishment; and, they knew that the time to speak had come. The gospel parallels are clear: do we realise what we have, and does the weight of our blessing give us a proper sense of our duty to tell good news to those who need it?
