Twice Smiting the Rock & Edom Denies Passage

This is a sad chapter indeed. It not only opens with the death of Moses' sister,Miriam, but Moses and his brother Aaron sin so against the LORD that they are denied the privilege of leading Israel, after 40 yrs. wandering through the desert, into the land of Canaan, and then closes with Aaron's death. If the Lord will, there are some simple things we might apply to our lives today that can carry some long-term affects.
