Motives for Ministry

This passage describes the reaction Paul and his missionary companions to the things they had suffered and the reasons they could respond as they did. Unlike the religious hucksters of that time, they had come with pure motives of pleasing God and being His blessing to them. They present to us the proper motives for ministry.
