"Our Father Who Art in Washington" The Ten Commandments, God's Perfect Law- Pt. 4

1. When we refuse to be regarded as God's property, we then become another Man's property. The most powerful incarnation of this phenomenon is Statist power and worship. (Daniel 2)
2. The first of the Ten Commandments proclaim God' sovereignty over his people. They will be his people and therefore be subject to his laws.(Exodus 20:1-3;10:1-3) Compared to Man's law, God's law is productive and conducive according to the dominion mandate. (Genesis 1:1;26-28)
3. Christians through the power of the Holy Ghost should be the States most fruitful and harmless citizens. This seems ironic to the natural man but scripture fleshes out this principle. (1 Peter 2; Romans 12&13)
