Supplication & Repentance

Asking God for our daily bread is a reminder that He not only provides all but, in our rebellion, we do not deserve any blessing from His hand. Asking God forgiveness reminds us that we have forgiveness of our sins only in Christ. Asking God to lead us not into temptation and deliver us from evil reminds us that we need Christ and His power to keep us from stumbling into sin.
