In James 5:7-12 we are given answers to seven questions concerning how believers must suffer patiently in light of the coming of the Lord. 1) How long should we be patient (v.7a)? 2) What does it look like to be patient (v.7)? 3) Why must we be patient (v.8)? 4) What will happen if we are not patient (v.9)? 5) Are there examples of people who remained patient during times of suffering (v.10)? 6) Are there examples of people who have remained steadfast in times of suffering (v.11)? 7) What has patience to do with faithfulness (v.12)?
