16 - The Trap of Worldly Philosophy

Colossians 2:4-10 addresses the root cause of the crisis condition of the church as we find it today. This passage identifies the most essential problem that individual Christians and congregations of Christians confront: the trap of worldly philosophy, being in subjection to the thinking of fallen man instead of the Word of God. This trap manifests itself in a thousand ways as postmodernism, naturalism, and humanism saturate 21st-century society.
