Remember My Chains

138

In today's message, Don concludes his series of sermons on the book of Colossians.

Don begins by highlighting the portions of Colossians that have impacted him the most.

Next, Don looks at the final verse of Colossians where Paul:

  1. notes that he is writing his greeting with his own hand
  2. tells the Colossians to “remember my imprisonment”

Today is the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church.

What can we do about persecution of the church?

  • Remember the chains of our brothers and sisters in Christ.

  • Be bold and courageous in our witness for Christ.

  • Offer Support: The Voice of the Martyrs www.persecution.com or Open Doors www.opendoorsusa.org.

  • Pray that our brothers and sisters in Christ will remain strong under persecution. Pray also for the persecutors.

Remember the prisoners, as though in prison with them, and those who are ill-treated, since you yourselves also are in the body. Hebrews 13:13 (NASB)
