What is Reformed Theology/Calvinism 6: Limited Atonement or Particular Redemption

Who did Jesus Christ die to save? What was God's intent in the atonement? What do people mean when they say the atonement was limited? Do those that hold to a universal atonement still limit its power? How is the scope of the atonement limited? How can someone go to hell if Jesus "died for them"? What does it mean that Jesus Christ died for all men without distinction but not all men without exception? Was Christ's work of atonement objective? Did Jesus objectively save believers or only potentially save believers?
