Bright Lights In Corinth

: Now there had been a number of bad actors in Corinth and a number them were setting bad examples but now Paul will direct the church's attention to those in their midst that are setting before them godly examples, examples which this young church needed to focus upon. They will be led out of their failures by following those who are faithfully following Christ. And there were good, godly examples in the body. Paul needed to address a number of sin issue but let us remember that even in the darkest days God has his sweet servants who are bright lights in dark times. We must be discerning and attentive to the encroaching compromises that may come around us but we must end all such considerations on a positive note with our eyes on those who are showing us the way out of the swamps and into the high ground of God's advancing Kingdom.
