The Right Way Do A Wedding? If you want to keep your pastor job, Don't Try This!

719

We start this short lecture with our pastor describing what he does when he officiates a wedding. He knows Who he'll be standing in front of on that day, and he knows he will have to answer for how he did with these people who may never hear the gospel or darken the door of a church their entire lives. He does John 8:24 and explains the Hebrew Marriage Ceremony and how it teaches of Jesus Christ and His redemptive work and His return to claim His bride, the Church. Trust me, this is not your normal pastor and I hope you'll want to get to know what he teaches. It's been the experience of my lifetime and I want it to be yours as well.

But on with the lecture. Okay, part of it is still why he does what he does at a wedding. And then we're back to Moses in Exodus 4, where he gets instruction from The I AM, Jesus Christ Himself. He gives Moses the two signs to prove that he is the one who has God with him. Those two signs do not include a Blackhawk helicopter. He gets a stick that turns into a snake and a leprous hand. And we got here because of the two birds in Genesis 15. If that doesn't confuse you, you've cheated and listened to the previous lectures, or... you're a weird person like us.

And the cool part is how pastor Chronister gets us into the type of Christ which is a serpent on a stick. Christ is crucified because we are to look at Him up on the pole. Now do you get the connection? If not, you'll just have to listen to the lecture. It will be worth it. You'll learn a lot that you may never hear in a church service... or a wedding.

Encourage this pastor by calling or writing him with questions. Throwing money at him is okay, but it doesn't work.
