Don't Judge

The "judge not" verse is one of the most misunderstood and misapplied in the entire Bible. Some think it is a license for a "do your own thing" religion. But that is a fatal error. Jesus knows we are all prone to excuse our own faults and magnify the faults of others. Yet, the true Christian bears a family resemblance to the Heavenly Father. Those who have experienced God's grace do not have a condemning, self-righteous attitude but a merciful and generous one. Be giving and forgiving. "For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." Judge yourself first, so you can see clearly to help another for God does not call us to be naive in a sinful world.
