- Many in the church today have ONLY the hope of their profession as the assurance of salvation. (The Problem) Para 1
- God has given each believer the assurance of His salvation not based upon their works. (The Correction) Para 2
a. Assurance is based upon the Lord's work in us.
b. It is not sufficient to heap up "good works" as the proof of assurance.
c. Assurance is only found in God's saving grace. - We MUST rely upon the wisdom of God grants to us to accomplish His will and proof our salvation. (The Follow-Through) Para 3
