Free from fear

Christ wants his disciples to live without gaps between the inner and the outer life, to live with no unrighteous filter. To do this, they need perspectives and priorities informed by the day of judgment and considered in the light of eternity. Christ therefore identifies those of whom they do not need to be afraid, the One whom they should fear with holy fear, and how that enables them to live not fearing.
