Christian Attitudes

As Paul winds the epistle to a close, he urges the saints to stand fast, stand firm, be resolute, be strong in the Lord. As he does, he gives us ways that we can be stable in our walk with Christ. These thoughts that we see in the remainder of the chapter deal primarily with heart attitudes, not primarily with actions.

There are some attitudes that the Christian displays. These are not suggestions for us, but divine commands and attitudes that God blesses his people with, and to which we are to cultivate. God gives them by grace, and we, in turn, cultivate what God has put in us.
