Confessing Christ

This morning five adults confessed their faith in Jesus and five covenant children were baptized. Today’s message about confessing Christ applies to them and to everyone here:
Children need to confess Christ for themselves and not rely on their baptism or their parents’ faith to get them into heaven.
Adults who have never professed faith need to hear that God commands them to repent and believe.
Professing believers take encouragement from what it means to believe and confess Christ.
