It was God who ordained marriage and began that institution, when he wed Adam to Eve. He sets the regulations and stipulations of that covenant, which is a blood covenant. It is He whom prepares the Bride for His son. It is used as a preparation of what the Kingdom of God is that is a family "The God Family" us being His Sons and Daughters.
