The Life of One — The Glory Factor

Join us in a two-part teaching as we explore these and other questions in light of the life of Joseph. He lived the life of one. These truths and factors can be life-changing — if we meekly and humbly seek the Lord and ask Him to manifest His heart through them.

If you are not to lean on yourself, and your brother is not to lean on himself, why would you then lean on him, who's not supposed to lean on himself?

Think about it.

Now, there is wisdom in godly counsel — but it's not wise to run to others, first, before you seek the Lord. And a habit of doing that will only set you up for failure.

The principle of priority hasn't changed. It is and will always be — seek first the King, His dominion over your life, direction for life, and righteous ways in life and He's promised to give you what you need. And that need could be a brother or sister who will equip and encourage you and then again it may be you'll be the one encouraging and equipping someone.

How would we handle and deal with being all alone — with no bible to open, no brother or sister, in Christ, to call upon, and no other believers to seek counsel from?

Would we be prepared for that scenario if it would happen to us?

How much truth do I have hidden in my heart to live, share, and point others to Jesus — if I were suddenly isolated from all that I currently embrace as normal?

  1. The God Factor — It's Relational! A Relationship with the Lord cannot be substituted with anyone or anything. Knowing Him and being intimately known by Him — is an irreplaceable factor.

  2. The Grace Factor — It's Redeeming! Redemption is always the goal of grace. We see that God is intention
