Love and Obedience

The root of all genuine obedience is love for God and love for God will always bear the fruit of obedience to the commandments of Jesus Christ. If we have truly been brought by Jesus Christ into a relationship of friendship with God then His commandments are not burdensome to us. When we give ourselves to obeying Him as both our Lord and our friend then we will see lasting fruit in our lives and ministry.
