The Light of the World

In John 8, we read of the conflict that arose over the woman caught in adultery. This chapter, like many of the sections of John's Gospel, are focused on the conflict over the truth claims of Jesus Christ. It exposes the fact that there are reasons people dismiss Jesus and hold back from following Him. And it reveals the tragedies of not knowing Him, not having His light or possessing the truth that sets you free.
