Anna's godly example has much to teach us concerning devotion to God.
- The Lord does use women
- The Lord uses the old
- The Lord uses the solitary
- The Lord uses the afflicted
- The Lord causes his people to desire Christ
The sorrows of providence had not embittered Anna but rather fueled her devotion to Christ. Do we speak well of Christ and do our hearts think well of Him even with all our afflictions? Ought not our hearts and lips ever say, 'He doeth all things well'?
