Christ is Preached on the Mission Field - Part 1

Paul and Barnabas were selected by the Holy Spirit and recognized
By the Church for this special mission.

Paul and Barnabas desired to evangelistically spread the gospel
and trust God to use the Word to save sinners.

I. The Sovereign Election of a Nation 17-18

He starts with God’s sovereign choice in election.
Deuteronomy 7:6-8
God loved them – because God chose to love them.
God redeemed them – because He chose to redeem them.

      Deuteronomy 14:1-2		

               In the NT we see the same principle   1 Peter 2:9-12a

III. From David to Christ 22b-25
