62 Tastes of Heaven

We face many temptations to give up.

1. Doubt
2. Ministerial Liars
3. The great cost.

But God enables his people to persevere. One way for bestowing the grace of preservation is to give us a taste of heaven.

These tastes are things that stir up within us the longing for home. They are promises of that which is to come.

There are 4 things that seperate us from God presence. These 4 things, though we experience them now, will be removed in eternity.

1. There will be no death. (1-2)

2. There will be no curse. (3)

3. There will be no mediator. (4)
   --Before eternity, God's presence to His people is always mediated. In eternity God's presence will not be mediated. --Christ, of course will continue as our mediator in such a way that because of Him we are enabled to enter into God's presence.--

4. There will be no more night. (5)
