The Tabernacle

Since the beginning of time man has had fellowship with God.
For the children of Israel God appointed the Tabernacle as the meeting place between God and men. For all God's people the Tabernacle is a pattern and type of communion and fellowship between God and his chosen ones.

1. The Tabernacle initiated by God.
2. Inhabited by God.
3. Designed by God.
4. Furnished by God.
   Application: 1. The significance of the Tabernacle for the New Testament era: Christ tabernacled among men. 2. The aspiration of Old Testament believers is our aspiration. 3. Never forget that our worship is to be regulated by God. 4. The willigness of the people of God to contribute to the Tabernacle - our pattern!
