Assured Christ is Your Ransom

Sermon Point: Assure yourself Christ is the ransom payment for your sins by trusting in Him.

Outline:

1. The title ‘Son of Man’ comes from Daniel 7.

2. The Son of Man came by way of incarnation.

3. He came to render very particular and peculiar service (Mark 8:31, 9:12, 9:31-32, 10:32-34).

4. This service required the giving of His life in active and passive obedience.

5. This giving is a ransom payment made to the Father.

6. Finally, this ransom, by its very nature, frees many, those for whom payment is made.
