United as Slaves for the Gospel

35

Though elsewhere in Scripture we are called sons and heirs with our Lord Jesus Christ, we must not overlook that Paul's most common and reoccuring description for himself is that of a slave.

Though this is a by-word in our society, it is only when we realize that we are bond-servants of Christ that we will begin to act like it.

Contrary to be a derogatory slandering of Christians, this theology is liberating and reminds us that Christ has saved us to serve Him. He is the sovereign King of the universe, and we His humble servants, not vice versa.

A sermon that might rock your boat and change your life.
