The Pursuit of Victory and the Shame of Retreat

Nowhere in the Holy Scriptures does God imply that His obedient people give up and acknowledge defeat. It is God's purpose to both strengthen and deliver His purchased possession in order that they pursue Historical Victory and Conquest over all enemies that exalt themselves against the knowledge and Sovereignty of Christ. To admit defeat is to admit that Christ has failed in His Kingly office.
