Jonah devotion part 3

Remember this... Orders from the King override and overrule every objection and opponent. And they overflow into our practical everyday lives to effectively and efficiently deal with every obstacle and opposition. Those words..."Have not I sent you?" and ..."Have not I commanded you?" Who can overturn, override or obliterate what I ordered and assigned you to accomplish?

Can you hear the Lord speaking this over and into you? "Have not I commanded you? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be dismayed: for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:9) and "Go, in this your might, you shall fulfill your assignment. Have not I sent you?" (Judges 6:14)

Wow, when God commands and sends us, we can go courageously, in His might and for His glory, with His blessings and authority. And, no matter how easy or tough times may be, when we're under His command and commission, we can say, "It is well!"
